Quilt Teachers

Quilt classes and workshops are a wonderful way for quilt enthusiasts to learn more of quilts and quiltmaking. These teachers are willing to travel nationally and internationally to share their expertise and creativity.

Karen Kay Buckley With over 250 quilts to her credit, her personal work has received numerous awards including six Best of Show awards. Karen Kay was voted teacher of the year by the Professional Quilter magazine in 1997.
Sandy Heminger Owner of A Piece in Time in Akron OH, Sandy teaches and lectures with an emphasis on pieced quilts.
Barbara Jones Barb is the owner/chief designer for QuiltSoup.com. She specializes in patterns for the advanced beginner and intermediate stitcher.
Sue Nickels Sue began quilting over 22 years ago, starting out by hand and gradually focusing on machine work. She have been teaching machine quilting and appliqué classes for the past 12 years.
Jackie Robinson An international teacher and lecturer, Jackie has authored twelve quilting books. She is best known for her geometric patterns, creating new and expanded designs from traditional shapes.
Sue Spargo Sue's workshops are a wonderful way for quilt enthusiasts to spend time working in-depth on one creative quilt project.
